The nonlineas effect of ultrasound wave propagation in the biological medium is considered in order to oftain the more and meticulous internal structure and information of pathological changes tissue with the wide climical practice and technical constant inprovement of ultrasound diagnosis. Therefore,the nonlinear acoustics concerning medical ultrasound diagnosis and cure has very important realistic significance. This article attempts to review the application of nonlinear acoustics in medical diagnosis from three aspects of bubble contrast agents,the nonlinear paramenter of biological medium and second harmonic reflection. Also,three specimens are made the numerical calculation and theory background for imaging by second harmonic reflection is especially emphasised.
