The properties, application fields and market prospect of polypropylene ( PP) foam were discussed. Expanded PP has good heat resistance, mechanical properties and degradability and so on, so it is a new kind of foam in the replacement of polystyrene foam. PP foam can be widely used in many fields such as food packaging, cushion packaging, disposable packaging, automotive uses, heat insulation, construction, sports and so on.
