本文从理论联系实际 ,实事求是 ,以理服人 ,发扬民主 ,走群众路线 ,团结人民 ,关心群众疾苦 ,开展批评与自我批评和以身作则几个方面谈如何继承党的优良传统。在新的历史时期 ,怎样切实加强思想政治工作 ,为经济建设和社会进步提供有力的保证 ,作为一个称职的干部 ,合格的干部就必须高度重视思想政治工作 ,学会做思想政治工作 ,带头做好思想政治工作 ,不断提高思想政治工作的水平。在市场经济条件下使思想政治工作更好地成为团结人民 ,教育人民的新法宝。

This article describes how to inherit our party's good tradition from the following aspects: integrating theory with practice,seeking truth from facts,convincing people by reasoning ,developing the democracy ,following the mass line, uniting with all the people, being concerned about the weal and woe of the people, carrying out criticism and self-criticsm,and setting an example for others .During the new historic period,we shall study how to stengthen the ideological & political work in real earnest in order to provide a powerful guarantee for the economic and the social development. As a competent & qualified cadre,we must attach great importance to the political work, learn how to do the ideological & political work and how to play a leading role, and continuously heighten the level of the ideological & political work under the present circumstances of market economy. We should make the ideological political work become a new magic weapon which can better unite with people and educate people.
