The whole and dialectical thoughts are very important modes of thinking in Chinese traditional culture, which penetrates into various aspects of the Chinese culture. By citing some of Du Fu's poems written in the dialectical thought, this paper explores the rich meanings expressed with limited words, the variety of tensions, the solid and living images and the deep significance in Du Fu's poems.
