Some Opinions About Improving the Book Number Assignment in Libraries

目前有些高校图书馆在书次号取号方面还存在一些问题 ,如书次号取号不规范、同类书的书次号区别不清 ,导致同类书排架差错 ,产生一些“同书异号”和“同号异书”的现象。

There are some problems in the book number assignment in some university libraries. For example,the assignments are not very standard; confusion about the book numbers of the same kind of books, which may cause incorrect shelf order, and lead to'different numbers of the same book'and 'different books of the same number'.Through analysis and induction, some opinions are presented to improve the standardization of book number assignment.
