The navigation between Guangzhou and Arabia was flourishing as never witnessed before during the Tang Dynasty. Many Arabian merchants came to Guanghou for trade due to the Tang Goverment's open-door policy,their provision of favorite trade conditions,as well as their friendly attitudes towards the foreign people, and their religious beliefs, giving them a preferential tariff.
