The Reality of Historical Literature and Vogue of Smoking

历史文学作为一种特殊的文学样式 ,应在体现历史真实的前提下进行合理地想象、艺术加工和创造 ,不违背历史常理和历史常识。从吸烟习尚在中国的形成看 ,烟草自 17世纪的万历年间才陆续传入我国 ,而长篇历史小说《红瘦》和历史话剧《关汉卿》等有关历史文学作品 ,却将其写进了所着力表现的某历史社会生活中 。

As a particular literature style, the historical literature can be properly imaginative, artistically written and created based on the reflection on the reality of history. It should not be contrary to the historical common sense or common knowledge. From the beginning of smoking in China, we can see tobacco came to China in 'Wan Li period', the 17th century step by step, while it appeared in the long historical novel 'the Red and the Thin' and the play 'Guan Han Qin' and some other historical writings already. It seems that these works are contrary to the feature and writing theory of the historical literatures.
