This paper comments on the British historiography of agrarian history of the later part of the twentieth century. The anthor thinks that, there is great progress in British agrarian history studies. Either through the reflections of Brenner's Debates, the common land and tenant, or through the discussion on the concept of agricultural capitalism and English peasant economy, is of great value.
