摘要
为适应新时代的要求高等学校英语专业应改变过去单纯学习语言的倾向 ,开始向培养复合型、应用型外语人才的方向发展 .
In contrast with the heated atmosphere of English studies, English teaching is far from being statisfactory. This essay, with teaching approaches as its main thread, has discussed the present state of English teaching and the existing problems, and tries to figure out ways of training English majors with comprehensive abilities.
