商业文化的发展使城市小说创作成为当今文学生机蓬勃的生长点。河南城市小说作家创作更接近文学的责任感和作家的社会良知。但是河南城市小说创作还处在初创期 ,在传统文明与现代都市文化的认识。

The development of commercial culture makes city novel creation be the flourishing and growing point of modern literature. The creation by Henan Province writers is still closer to the dutiful sense of literature and the writer's social consciences. But it still lies in the intial stage and there exists some insufficiency with repect to the understanding of traditional civilization, modern city culture and respect to the molding of femal figures.
