私营企业主入党问题令人困惑 ,在此问题上曾经有过理论与现实之间的矛盾 ,其实质在于吸收私营企业主入党会不会影响中国共产党工人阶级先锋队的性质。中共党史给我们的启迪是 :我们只有既注意党员的成分 ,又反对“唯成分论” ,才能保持党的性质不变。在新的历史时期 ,我们必须做出理性的抉择 :吸收私营企业主阶层中的先进分子入党。

The problem of whether private enterpreneurs can join the Communist Party of China or not,makes many people confused. There was ever a contradiction between the theory and the reality to this problem. The essence of the contradiction is that whether it will affect the quality of the working class vanguard. We can draw inspiration from the history of the Party that we must pay attention to the Party member's class origin, meanwhile we must oppose the theory of unique importance of class origin in order to retain the Party's quality. In this historic era ,we must make a rational decision that the advanced elements of the private enterpreneurs can join the Party.
