汉代画像石的最早研究是对汉画像石的收集和著录 ,随着汉代画像石墓的大量发掘 ,画像石的数量日益增多 ,研究汉代画像石的高水平论著不断面世 ,这些研究成果涉及到汉代社会生活的方方面面 ,反映了汉代人的鬼神信仰和理想追求 ,为研究汉代的政治经济、思想、文化、社会风俗、书法绘画和雕刻艺术诸方面提供了丰富而又重要的实物资料 。
The earliest study on stone carving in the han Dynasty focused on the collecting and listing of stone carving,but with increasingly excavating,more and more research papers on this have been published,which cover every aspect of the social life in Han Dynasty,reflect the ghosts and gods belief and their dreams.All this provides the rich and important data for the study on the politics,economy,political thought,culture,custom,painting and calligraphy,and carving.
