在远程教育中教与学是分离的 ,学习者不受时间和空间的限制 ,打破了时空界限 .对于理论教学通过将制作好的课件直接放入互联网中就可以完成 ,但对于实验教学就存在一定的难度 .

Teaching and learning is separated in long distanced education. Learners are not restricted by time and space, and can break the boundary of time and space. Theory teaching can be completed by putting directly set up courseware into internet, but it′s difficult for experiment teaching. This article analyses and gives definition to virtual instrument used in virtual experiment in details which is an important part in long distance education.
