在我国,体育院校对体育教师的体力、智力、思想培养方面起着重要的作用,体育院校的教学目标和模式要满足现代社会的要求21世纪中学体育教学的改革与发展势在必行,在检验了目前的教学目标、教学方法和课程之后,笔者对正在全国范围内进行的教学改革的几个方面进行了考察.

In China,institutes of physical education play an important role in training of physical e-ducation teachers with a approach emphasizing physical,moral and intellectual aspects. The objec-tives and teaching patterns of the institutes must meet the needs of a modern society. The reforms and development of physical education in elementary and secondary schools in the 21st century are necessary. After examining the current goals,objectives,teaching methods and curriculum, the au-thors observed various aspects of reform which are currently taking place in the elementary and secondary schools physical education programs in China.
