Construction Measures for Accelerating Excavation of Long and Small Tunnel

长距离小断面地下隧洞由于受客观条件的限制施工难度非常大。作者根据草峪岭隧洞工程的施工实践,分析了制约长距离小断面隧洞掘进速度的几个主要原因,针对性的提出实行光面爆破,搞好施工通风,组织好出碴,加强对特殊地段的处理是加快其掘进速度的主要工程措施。

Based on the practice of Caoyulin tunnel ,several main causes restricting the excavation speed of long and small tunnel had been found .In accordance with these causes mentioned above ,some construction measures for accelerating the excavation speed of long and small tunnel ,such as conducting the smooth blasting ,doing well the ventilation during construction organizing finely the ballast mucking ,strengthening the treatment of special subjects including fault and fracture zone ,were presented. The overall length of Caoyulin water tunnel is 19.4km ,the tunnel cross section is of the type that is with vertical walls ,3.4meters in clear width by 4.0 meters in net height .The surrounding rock being the interbedding of sandstone and mudstone .
