The authors outlined some hot topies in the research on the relationship between grazing and gangeland biodiversity, the effect of grazing on the dynamic variation of rangeland plant community, the studies on rangeland edsertification and rangeland biodiversity, the relationship between rangeland biodiversity and environental factors, and the conservation of rangeland biodiversity. The authors think that grazing utilization and biodiversity conservation are the characteristics of bicdiversity research in rangeland. Therefore, it is necessary to regard the sustainable development as the guide lines of rangeland biodiversity research.
