PATHOLOGICAL EXAMINATION OF POXVIRUS INFECTED TUMOR-LIKE LESIONS IN CHINESE GEESE

在80只放牧鹅群中发现7例病鹅伴有喙部或腿部上皮组织肿瘤样病变。经光、电镜检查证实为痘病毒感染。

Tumor-like lesions were found on the skin epithelium of the beak and legs in seven from a group of 80 free range Chinese geese. Poxvirus infection was revealed by light and electron microscopy. Poxvirus infection in geese needs to be studied further.
