2002年5月份,金融运行健康平稳。主要情况为:货币供应量增长平稳,货币流动性继续上升;企业存款明显增加,居民储蓄继续快速增长,并首次突破8万亿元大关;基础货币增长较快,人民币汇率保持稳定。

In May 2002,financial performance remained healthy and stable.The main characteristics were that money supply increased moderately;money liquidity continuously rose;corporate deposits increased remarkably;household savings grew rapidly,exceeding 8 trillion yuan for the first time;base money grew rapidly and the exchange rate of RMB remained stable.
