摘要 本文提出了一个基于进化算法的矢量量化 (VQ)的码矢索引值分配算法 (EAIAA) ,该算法提供了一种有效的获得全局最优的索引值分配方法 ,在存在信道噪声的情况下 ,可以有效地提高矢量量化器的性能 ,实现了信道最优矢量量化器 (COVQ)的设计 .该算法利用进化算法的隐含并行性搜索方法和优胜劣汰的自然选择机制 ,可迅速寻找到全局最优解 ,克服了传统优化算法只能提供局部最优解的缺陷 .实验结果表明该算法可获得比传统算法更高的性能增益 . A globally optimal solution to vector quantization (VQ) index assignment on noisy channel,the Evolutionary Algorithm based Index Assignment Algorithm (EAIAA),is presented.The algorithm yields a significant reduction in average distortion due to channel errors,over conventional arbitrary index assignment,as confirmed by experimental results.
