The methods of anti corrosion of steel and iron are summarized. The history and the present state of hot dip galvanization were elucidated and the developing process and the defect of color coating steel sheets were presented. The merit and its present research situation of coloring hot-dip galvanization (CHDG) in the world were also introduced. Finally, the importance and prospect of research and development of CHDG were pointed out.
