Watts Design Model for Multimedia Language Learning Software and Its Implication

摘要 本文介绍了Watts提出的基于学习者的交互式多媒体语言学习软件的设计模式.他认为用于语言学习的交互式多媒体软件的设计方法应该是基于学习者的设计方法,即从学习者的需求出发,综合学习者的情况、学习者的目标而进行设计.这一理论对我国的多媒体英语学习应用软件的设计和多媒体英语教学具有很大的启示. This paper introduces Watts design model for learner based interactive multimedia language learning software. He thinks that the approach for the design of interactive multimedia language learning software should be a learner based approach. A learner based approach starts with learner needs, and includes learner situations and learner goals, which is of great importance in our multimedia language learning software design and multimedia language teaching.
