镇南关大捷后法国对华政策试析

An Analysis of Shift of French Foreign Policy to Then China After Zhennan-Fort Great Victory

关于中法战争清政府乘胜即收的原因 ,近年来有学者进行了新的研究 ,提出了一些有说服力的理由。分析镇南关大捷后法国的对华政策 ,可以从一个侧面审视这一问题。其实 ,茹费理下台的直接原因虽然是法军在越南的失利 ,但其根本原因却是法国无产阶级与统治阶级的矛盾 ,以及统治阶级内部各派系的矛盾斗争的结果。茹费理刚下台 ,议会便通过了增兵加饷案 ,说明法国没有改变对华战争政策 ,这促使清政府决定乘胜即收。

Presently some scholars have been making new studies and some persuadable reasons about why the government of Qing Dynasty retreated from the battle instead of having followed up with hot pursuit in the Sino Franco war(1885).Actually,we could think about the fact that how France shifted its foreign policy to then China after Qing Dynasty won the Zhennanfort great victory,seemingly the reason that Ruvignay fell out of power was French troops had suffered from military reverses in Vietnam battlefield,but in fact,the conflicts between French proletarians and bourgeoisie,and the factional strives among the ruling class were the basic reasons for his officeleave.As soon as Ruvigny's falling out of power,the parliament passed the Act of reinforcements of soldiers and their pay and provisions,continuing its policy to invade China.So the government of Qing Dynasty had forced to make the decision withdrawing,no pursuing.
