The development of logistics industry reflects the overall strength of a country as well as affects the competitiveness of a company to certain extent. Theoretical research and practices in the US, Japan and Germany prove that the logistic comprehensiveness is the highest level and the most maturest stage of logistic industry. A fully developed and a perfect tertiary logistics is the basis of logistic comprehensiveness. A mature logistics is the third major profits source to a company. As the heat of logistics throngs into China with economic globalization, the heat is after all focused on the logistics serving the entire society while little attention is stressed on company logistics as an important link and basis of the macro logistics serving the society. In fact, tertiary logistics is of great significance to productive companies in terms of lowering production costs, providing better services, dispersing risks and improving the overall competitiveness. Application of new technology provides companies indulged in tertiary logistics with even stronger functions. Productive companies may obtain better opportunity to further prosperity with the help of tertiary logistics in the variable market and global competition. This paper proposes three modes for related cooperation such as horizontal, vertical and network modes and measures to avoid risks in tertiary logistics.
