翻译中的增补意译和共情意译

在众多的翻译方法和手段当中,总的说来有两种:直译和意译。意译又分直译兼意译,即增补意译和完全意译。究竟采用何种方式,一是要由整个上下文决定,即全篇文章或全书的文体风格来决定;二是要由读者对象来决定,即如果是给中国人看的,那就不妨采用直译法或增补法;如果是给外国人看的,那就最好用共情意译,他们一看就明白所要表达的意义。

Practically there are two kinds of tr anslation .One is literal translation and the other is liberal translation or free translation.Li beral translation also has two kinds:supplement and empathy.Both methods are necessary,and we can hardly say whic h is preferable.Which is method empl oyed depends on both context and subject.
