Innovation is the soul of a nation.What counts most in the practice of quality education is to spare no efforts to culativate students' ability to inno vate,and to give free rein to students' personality thinking.This is a primary issue that many educational workers are studying at present.This article takes th e working out of students' creative potentialities,the training of students' ability to ponder over problems from different angles as a point of departure of th e question of how to cultivate the innovative consciousness of national students in mathematics teaching.
