Qu Qiubai's View on Chinese and Western Culture

以近代西方文化的交会碰撞为背景，瞿秋白向人们揭示了西方文化给中国社会和传统文化带来的冲击与震荡，剖析探索了中国传统文化的历史命运和出路，在认真反思了西方文化的意义与价值的基础上，提出了吸收与借鉴西方文化应坚持的指导思想和具体标准，他的这些思想丰富了人们对中西文化交流的认识，为当前的文化建设提供了可资借鉴的理论和历史经验。

Based on the conflict between Chinese culture and western culture, Qu Qiubai revealed the quake and impact that western culture had brought on China's society and its traditional culture, analyzed and explored the destiny and the way out for China's traditional culture. After thinking over the meaning and the value of western culture, Qu Qiubai put forward some guidelines and criteria for the adoption and reference of western culture, which help to understand the communication between Chinese and western culture. Moreover, they render a reference theory and historical experience for the present culture construction.
