A note of independence condition of Plott′s path

研究了选择函数的路径无关性问题 .探讨了路径无关性问题的起源 ,给出了Plott路径无关性条件的形式化表示 ,并对各种路径无关性条件的相互关系进行分析 ;在此基础上 ,探讨路径无关性条件与理性选择函数间的相互关系 .所得结论表明 :社会选择的路径无关性要求并不能导致群 (社会 )的完全理性假设必然成立 .

Path independence in social choice was studied. The source of path independence in social choice was investigated and Plott′s formalizations of path independence was given. The correlation of various kinds of Plott′s path independence condition was studied. On the basis of this analysis, the correlation of path independence and rational choice function were explored. It was showed that the path independence of social choice could not cause the result that the group rationality should exert in social choice.
