摘要
通过数值求解耦合波方程,研究了半导体光放大器弛豫时间对四波混频波长变换效率的影响.计算结果表明只有当泵浦光与信号光的频率差在半导体光放大器弛豫时间倒数的数量级时,弛豫时间才对波长转换效率有较大的影响,并且当半导体光放大器其他参数固定时,转换效率相对弛豫时间的增加基本上是呈下降趋势.这为利用半导体光放大器的四波混频效应进行全光波长变换提供了理论依据.
This dissertation is devoted to effects of relaxation times on wavelength conversion efficiency based on four-wave mixing(FWM) in semiconductor optical amplifier(SOA). The results show that only when beating of the pump and signal light is 1/t(t is relaxation time), effects of relaxation time on wavelength conversion efficiency is distinct and conversion efficiency declines when t grows.
