Amblygamasus atushiensis Ma et Ye,1999 Deutonymph.Idiosoma 793 μm long, 540 μm wide.Dorsum covered with two shields, anterior dorsal shield bearing 17 pairs of simple setae, numerous setae densely covering on posterior dorsal shield and cuticle. Presternal shields one pair. Sternal shield with 4 pairs of setae. Anal shield pear-shaped with 3 perianal setae.Ventral cuticle covered by numerous setae.Metapodal shields one pair, very small. Peritreme reaching to posterior margin of coxa Ⅰ.Tectum with a long, poited medial and several lateral teeth. Chela long, movable digit tridentate. Setae al of palpfemur and al 1 and al 2 of palpgenu branchy. Leg setae pilose. Protonymph. Idiosoma 471 μm long and 310 μm wide. Dorsal setae about 28 pairs. Venter with 3 pairs of sternal setae, 5 pairs of ventral setae and 3 perianal setae. Peritreme very short. Specimens 3♀♀,3,2 deutonymphs and 1 protonymph, from humus soil under trees, in Wuhan City (30°31N,114°16′E), Hubei Province, 1997-06-02.
