The distribution of calcitonic gene related peptides (CGRP) was observed in the wistar rat stomach and pancreas by immunohistochemical ABC method. The results showed that: ①There were a great number of immunoreactive positive CGRP nerve fibers in the rat stomach, but the positive CGRP neuron was not observed. ②There were only a few of immunoreactive positive CGRP cells in rat gastric antrum. ③There were two kinds of CGRP positive endocrine cells in rat islets of pancreas.
