A new digital adjustable speed DC system controlled by the single chip microcomputer 8098 is presented. The minimum control system consisting of the 8098 is the core. It supplies a PWM pulse that has a changeable duty ratio. The pulse is to be the input signal of the horse power circuit. The output horsepower is changed by regulating the duty ratio of the pulse, so the intention of adjusting speed is obtained.
