The Method of Consolidating Double Curverd Arch Bridge by Shortening Span and its Application in Engineering

提出了一种新的双曲拱桥加固方法 ,通过缩小跨径、减小拱圈弯矩 ,达到提高承载能力的目的。分析与工程实践表明 ,这种方法具有简单有效、经济易行的优点 。

A new method of consolidating double curved arch bridges is presented. By shorting the span, minishing the arch moment, the bearing capacity of the bridges can be obviously enhanced. The validity,economy and facility of the method can be identified by analyse and engineering applications. When the main purpose is to improve the bearing grade of the medium span bridges ,this method will be appreciated.
