On Chen Du-xiu's Maintaining His Integrity in His Later Years

陈独秀的前半生是个伟大的革命者 ,在他生命的最后十几年中 ,虽然也犯了一些这样或那样的错误 ,但不能说他是一个叛徒 ,他斗争的矛头仍然是指向国民党反动派。特别是在抗日战争爆发后 ,为了中华民族的利益 ,他全身心地投入了抗战工作 。

Chen Du-xiu was a great revolutionist in his earlier life. Although he made some mistakes in his later years, he continuously fought against the Kuomintang reactionaries and couldn't be regarded a traitor. Especially after the Anti Japanese War breaking out, he devoted himself into it heart and soul for the interests of the Chinese nation, and proved to be a great patriot.
