摘要
从我国中学地理课程目标的发展历程看 ,它是一个逐渐完善的过程。贯彻教育部新颁发的《基础教育课程改革纲要》,需要重新审视中学地理教育的价值目标。与《地理教育国际宪章》和发达国家相比 ,目前我国的中学地理课程距“核心课程”的地位甚远 ,课程目标体系的价值取向存在着重知识而轻技能、智能 ,重经济而轻人文 ,重国情教育而轻国际理解教育等问题。要全面理解和正确评价地理学科的教育功能 ,更新课程内容 ,实现自然地理与人文地理的有机结合 ,加大人地关系协调发展互动关系的认识 ,实施爱国主义教育的同时强化国际理解教育 ,发挥中学地理在我国现代化建设和公民素质教育中的重要作用。同时 ,要重视课程目标的层次性 ,实行国家、地方、学校三级管理模式 。
From the point of view of development, the middle school geographic curriculum in China is gradually improving. 'Foundation Course Reform Program' requires revaluation of geography education's weight and objective. Compared to International Geography Education Charter and developed countries, in China, the course of geography has not reached the standard of core courses. The estimation of the syllabus lays weight on textbook knowledge rather than practical skills and mental ability, on economy rather than humanities and on domestic learning above international comprehension. It is necessary to radically catch on and evaluate educational functions, renovate the content of teaching, integrate geography and humanities, inspire the understanding of the concerted interaction between human being and geographic environment, carry out patriotism education as well as international study and exert middle school geography course to function in modernization and mass edification of our country. Meanwhile, it is necessary to make a regard for the syllabus hierarchy, a supervision pattern functioning on three levels-nation, locality and school, and to develop school and community curriculums.
