With polyester/ cotton blended fabric and pure polyesterfabric as matrix,process to produce multi functional tarpaulin fea turing flame resistance,water proofing and moisture permeable properties was discussed.Practical application indicates the new product possesses not only the formerproperties,butalso high strength and light weight,itis an ideal productto take the place ofcotton tarpaulin.The manufacturing process is feasible to be popularized.
