This paper introduces two solutions for the problems existed in the application of SDH equipment in GSM network:re-synchronization and adap-tive pointer filtering technology.Mat-ters to be paid attention to in network designing,engineering installation and operational maintenance are point ed out in combination of practical opera-tion experience.Finally,FOCUS AC1and LX series SDH optical trans mission equip ment and their application in GSM network are introduced.
