延吉市部分幼儿园儿童头虱感染情况的调查

The Prevalence of Head Louse Infestation among Kindergarten Children in Yanji City

调查延吉市四所幼儿园737名儿童头虱感染情况。其中头虱感染者127人,平均感染率为17.23％,且随年龄递增而感染率也增高。其中,女童感染率为24.56％,高于男童感染率12.61％,男女性别间具有高度显著性差异(P<0.01)。公办幼儿园感染率随学生数的增多而增高。

The prevalence of head louise (Pediculus bamanus var, capitis) infestation in 4 kindergarten children in Yanji City, was investigated. Of 737 children who were examind for head lice and nit, 127 (17, 23%)were found infested. There was noted a tendency of increase in prevalence by increase of the age of chidren. The girls' rate, 24. 56% was higher than that of boy's 12.61%(P<0.01). The infestation rate of Beida private kindergarten children was higher than that of public kindergarten children. Above result indicates that the head louse is an important health problem in children. Therefore, the chemotherapy and the effort to improve the hygiene are necessary by parents, teachers and health administrators. Establisment of intensive control measure is need to prevent further infestation.
