通过对云南农业大学的教师、研究生和本科生的信息需求调查 ,了解到各类用户利用文献信息的状况和对文献信息的需求 。

Both information research and information service in a library play an important role in information administration. The final goal of them is to provide all kinds of information a user needs. Not only the contents and methods for information service, but also the mechanism and models for it can be decided by user's situation and demands. In the paper, the qualitative and quantitative analysis of utilization of information for users and the demands of users for information service in the library were obtained thought the investigation from teachers, graduates and undergraduates in Yunnan Agricultural University. Those can provide the foundation of information service for the library in the university.
