By comparison between hardened & tempered steel andcut easily nonhardened & tempered steel,this paper illustrates the mechanics property and application of 45 steel,40 Cr and YF40MnV steel clearly.By alternatively using YF40MnV on the drive shaft of tractors and the shaft ofclutches,the paper shows the developing prosperity of new style materials and theadvantage of comparative teaching.
