Comparative Study on "Heart" in Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine

从解剖、生理、病症等角度对中西医学有关“心”的认识进行比较 ,认为 :藏象学说中的心具有一定解剖学基础 ;中医理论体系中的心虽与现代医学心脏在生理功能上有相似之处 ,但又超越了现代医学有关认识 ,与心血管系统、神经系统、血液系统及代谢功能等有关。通过比较得出结论 :中医的“心” ,其藏象外延的拓展决非随心所欲的杜撰 ,而是维系着大量翔实的经验事实 ;西医心脏器概念存在着某些不足 ,局部脏器的形态界限并非其功能的边界。

In comparative study on the 'heart' in the anatomy,physiology and disease patterns between Chinese medicine and western medicine,the authors believe that the heart in the organ phenomena is based upon certain anatomical knowledge.The heart in the theoretic system of Chinese medicine is similar to the heart of western medicine in the physiological functions,but it exceeds the relative knowledge of the hear in western medicine,for it is related to the cardiovascular system,nervous system,blood system and metabolic functions.It was concluded by comparison that theoretic extension of the heart phenomena in Chinese medicine was not created in a slipshod way and was based upon large numbers of detailed experience and facts.Some insufficiency exists in the concept of the heart in western medicine and the morphological limit of the local organ was not the border of its functions.
