通过近三十年有关骨折治疗的临床与基础研究,人们已认识到AO关于“早期恢复骨折解剖学的连续性和力学完整性”这一生物力学观点的片面性,从合理的基点出发提出了包括复位手段、固定方法和固定术式等多方面的改进措施,并进行了理论上的修正,树立了“重点维护局部软组织血运”的以生物学为主的骨折治疗概念,即BO(BiologicalOsteosynthesis)概念。作者认为如将其升华为Bio-logicalOsteosynthesis即生物的-合理的接骨术来理解,可能更加确切。当然非手术治疗也必须同等重视。

Through the clinical and basic research during the last 30 years, people have realized the one sidedness of the biomechanical viewpoint of AO resuming the anatomical continuity and mechanical integrity early. The specialists put forward improved measurements in many aspects including reduction procedures, fixation methods and modalities of osteosynthesis. The new concept of fracture treatments with a biological viewpoint BO(Biological Osteosynthesis) has been set up progressively. It stresses on the maintenance of the blood supply of surrounding soft tissues as the most important element in the osteosynthesis. The author suggests that it would be more precise if we take the BO for biological logical osteosynthesis. Certainly, non operative osteosynthesis must be taken seriously too.
