Experimental and side stream test showed that combined use of NT 03 and NT 13 gaseous ammonia desulfurization agent can remove hydrogen sulfide in ammonia by product from waste water stripping process to less than 1 ppm. The two desulfurization agents, developed by the Northwest Research Institute of Chemical Industry (NRICI, Lintong, Xi'an, China), have successfully used in refinery waste water stripping plants.
