摘要
描述利用DBCCSHOWCONTIG、SHOWPLAN和STATISTICSIO等语句对数据库索引进行分析、维护 ,以及用索引调整向导 (IndexTuningWizard)来生成索引配置建议 ,为数据库创建优化合理的索引 ,加快应用程序检索数据的速度 ,提高数据库及应用程序的性能。
A novel method of creating optimized and perfect database index is presented. According to the method, some statements such as DBCC, SHOWCONTIG, SHOWPLAN and STATISTICS IO, are used to analyze and maintain database index, and index tuning wizard is applied to generating index configuration suggestions. The method is used to enhance the velocity of searching data and thus to improve the performance of database and applications.
