摘要
给出一种新的图像压缩方法,该方法是在小波库中通过以信息熵作为代价函数寻找最优基,实现图像压缩。仿真结果显示,该方法压缩比大,信息损失小,能够较好恢复原有图像。
The paper introduces a new approach of image compression,which finds the best basis in wavelet packets by using Shanon-Weaker entropy criterion.Simulation proves this an efficient compression method owing to a larger compression ratio,a less loss of information,and better performance of recovering the original image.
