This paper has analyzed and contrasted the similarities between Jiang Zemin's 'Three Representatives' idea and the Party Building ideas of Leninism.It has been proved that the putting of Jiang Zemin's 'Three Representatives' idea carries the similar background as the birth of Leninist's Party Building ideas; Jiang Zemin's 'Three Representatives' idea practised and furthermore enriches the Party Building ideas of Leninism; both Jiang Zemin's 'Three Representatives' idea and the Party Building ideas of Leninism have played an important historic role in their respective historical periods.
