Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping are great statesmen and thinkers of 20th century.There are similarities as well as differences between their thoughts on combating corruption.The similarities lie mainly in their theoretical bases,principled stands,and their stresses on clean government while the differences lie in their different perspectives in analyzing the causes of corruption,and their different means and structural appraoches in combating corruption.
