本文运用陈元光的诗文及闽、粤相关文史资料 ,对陈元光的政治思想及其实践的探讨表明 ,他不仅是个唐代军事家、诗人 ,而且还是个政治家 ,是位文武双全的儒将。他不仅属于闽南 ,也属于潮汕 。

An investigation into the political thought and practice as disclosed in the poems and other works by CHEN Yuanguang himself and in the related historical literature thereabout found in Fujian and Guangdong Provinces shows that he is not only a militarist and poet of the Tang Dynasty but also a statesman and a general well versed both in martial art and in literary grace.He belongs not only to southern Fujian but also to Chaozhou Shantou area and,to be exact,belongs to China.
