Strategies for improving rural water supply in Guangxi

对广西农村改水工作的现状进行分析 ,认为现在的改水工作中存在着有限的改水经费分散使用、面临着二次改水的巨大压力、科学的运行管理机制尚未确立等问题 ,提出了改水经费统一调配使用、吸收社会资金参与农村改水、运用市场经济手段加快发展农村改水事业的新思路 ,并提出了股份制改水的设想。

The paper analyzes the current situation of rural water supply in Guangxi. The major problems include scattered utilization of limited financial resources, tremendous pressure of secondary improvement of water supply, and absence of establishing scientific operation systems. The author puts forward new ways to improve water supply by centralizing funding, attracting resources from all communities, and by using the means of market economy. Furthermore, the author proposed promoting sanitation practices on shares.
