先秦时期的商人阶层有着自己独特的精神风貌和家庭生活。在精神风貌方面 ,他们中有些人不仅有着较强的职业道德 ,讲信义 ,富而不忘德 ,而且有些人还有着吃苦的精神 ,坚毅的品格。此外肆无忌惮、骄横不世以及对金钱的崇拜也是有些商人的精神特征。在家庭生活方面 ,商人中的富商大贾奢豪气派 ,并拥有大量的家庭奴仆。

Merchant class people of the pre Qin period had their own unique spiritual world and family life.In spirit had different view of professional morality.Some were honest,moral and hard workng and othes were unscrupulous arrogant and money worshiping.In family life,the richest of then were extravagant and owned a lot of domestic servants.
