Remote Data Acquisition Based on Browser/Server Architecture

将网络技术融入数据采集系统使得原先在一台机器上完成的工作可以由多台机器分担 ,这使得数据采集站的负担大大减轻 ,数据分析的任务可以交给其他计算机完成。通过合理的资源配置 ,将可以大幅度提高系统的性能 ,并完成一些原先不可能完成的任务。与传统的 Client/Server结构不同 ,本文介绍了一种基于 Browser/Server结构的远程数据采集方法 ,利用通用网关接口 (CGI)进行远程数据采集 ,从而用一种更简洁的方式将数据采集系统与网络结合起来。同时论述了在 CGI程序中与设备驱动程序通讯实现数据采集的方法 ,并与其他方法进行了比较。最后通过实验证明 ,采用 Browser/Server结构进行远程数据采集是确实可行的 。

A data acquisition system is introduced. The test on a single computer can be finished by a group of computers. The computer for data acquisition can do data acquisition, and leave the task of data processing to others. Thus the performance of the system will be greatly improved. By comparison of the traditional Client/Server, a new method of remote data acquisition based on Browser/Server architecture is introduced. Common gateway interface (CGI) is used, so that the task can be accomplished by a relatively simple way. The method of communication is also presented between a CGI program and the device driver. A simple experiment is conducted to prove the method. It is concluded that this new remote data acquisition method based on browser/server architecture is feasible and more convenient than that of traditional way.
